The ski season is long thanks to Hemsedal’s high location, and conveniently located with ski-in/ski-out lies Fýri Resort. Because the most important thing is to maximize time on the slopes! Ski from the mountain peaks Totten, Roni, and Tinden where the highest peak is 1450 meters above sea level, with a vertical drop of 810 meters – welcome to the “Scandinavian Alps”.

SUMMIT TOUR/ AVALANCHE COURSE
Summit Tour or Avalanche Course
Summit Tour Course (2.5 days):
If you love skiing and want to learn more about how to go on a summit tour, then this course is for you! The course is designed as a beginner’s course in alpine skiing for those who have skied quite a bit but have little experience with summit tours. You will get tips and tricks on equipment, trip planning, and not least how to move as safely as possible both up and down the winter mountains. Our summit journey also encompasses extensive learning about avalanche awareness.

Avalanche Course:
Join us for two days on an avalanche course and get an introduction to finding the best snow! And not least, how to stay alive once you’ve found it. This course covers everything from avalanche risk assessment, trip planning, route selection, driving patterns, and companion rescue with the use of transceiver equipment.

Sledding in the mountain track
Sledding in the mountain track
Adult with child under 10 years 420 NOK
Glide down the mountain at dusk, illuminated by a headlamp, aboard Stiga Snowracers. We will ascend to the peak using the Mountain Lift and embark on as many descents as possible along the Mountain Track for one hour. Children under 10 years must ride with an adult. 1 child per adult. Bring appropriate footwear, gloves, goggles, and flexible leisure clothes. Price includes SkiPass, snowracer, and headlamp.

SLEDDING TOP TO BOTTOM
Sledding top to bottom
Price: Adult 370 NOK
Adult with child under 10 years 420 NOK
After the ski lift has closed for the day, embark on a descent down the mountain using Stiga Snowracers, guided only by the light of a headlamp. Our journey begins at the peak, accessed by the Mountain Lift, winds past the Mountain Café, and follows the Tourist track all the way to the base of the ski center. The trip has a total drop of 630 meters and is almost 5 km long. Children under 10 years must ride with an adult.
Price includes SkiPass, snowracer, and headlamp.

DOG SLEDDING
Dog sledding
Price: Adult 1700 NOK
Child (3-9 years) 850 NOK
Transport: 500 NOK/booking
On this experience, you’ll learn what it’s like to be a dog musher. Join us in harnessing 5-6 eager huskies. We will teach you the “musher language” and you will be able to try being a musher yourself. Along with another person, you’ll take turns driving the sled and enjoying the ride as a “passenger.” The tour leader drives their own dog team in front and the participants’ team will follow. No previous experience with dog sledding is required.
Practical Information
- Age limit: Younger children may participate at their parents’ discretion. Children 0 – 4 years are recommended to sit on an adult’s lap throughout the trip.
- Location: Eikre/Lykkja, Hemsedal Huskies
- Duration: About 3 hours incl. transport.
- Bring: Warm, weather appropriate clothes. We recommend layered clothing, with wool and insulating layers. Gloves, hat, buff, and good winter shoes. You can bring your own food and drink if desired.
- About the tour: There will be at least one stop along the way – where you can take turns driving the dog team.
