Are You Ready for

Queen of the Hill by G?

Some climbs are measured i meters. Others are measured in heart. This special stage is dedicated to Guro, whose love for the mountains, passion for endurance sports, and vibrant energy inspired everyone around her. Hemsedal was her home, and these mountains were her playground.

The climb is steep. Your legs will burn, your breathing will intensify, and every step will test your determination. But just like Guro, you keep moving forward. One step at a time. One effort at a time. Because reaching the summit is about more than being first. It is about courage, resilience, and embracing the journey all the way to the top.

Queen of the Hill by G

The 3 km “Forgotten Trail” with 550 meters of elevation gain is Fýri Trail’s toughest climb and most iconic special stage. The challenge begins after 4.5 km, just after you pass the spectacular Rjukande Falls. Dedicated to the memory of Guro and her love for the mountains.

Price money: 5 000 NOK women/men

Climb with purpose. Chase the summit. Honor Guro.

Are You Ready for

The Max Effort Challenge?

Some descents are measured in speed. Others are measured in how much you are willing to give. The final 4 km of Fýri Trail is dedicated to our friend and colleague, Max, who designed this part of the course and whose passion, energy, and determination left a lasting mark on Fýri Trail.

The descent is fast, steep, and technical. Your legs will be tired, your focus will be tested, and every turn will ask for one more push. But this is where you dig deep and give it everything you have. Because the Max Effort Challenge is about more than speed. It is about determination, pushing your limits, and carrying Max’s spirit all the way to the finish line.

Max Effort Challenge

The final 4 km of Fýri Trail, descending through Hemsedal’s alpine terrain before finishing at Fýri Resort. Dedicated to Max and the energy, passion, and determination he brought to Fýri Trail.

Give it your all. Leave nothing behind. Max Effort.
