Somewhere between Italy and France, high in the Norwegian mountains. Restaurant Liv is where the day’s best hours are spent, over food made from scratch, with the peaks always in view.

A journey for all your senses

Our cooking lives mostly between Italy and France: green herbs like basil and rosemary, the finest olive oil, sweet root vegetables at their best. Nothing complicated, just the dishes we love to cook and love to eat, made from scratch and built on carefully chosen ingredients.

Lunch at Liv

Lunch at Liv follows the season and whatever’s freshest. We like playing with the food we grew up with, and now and then challenging you with something less familiar. Right now the menu takes its cue from Japan, four small dishes, big on flavor.
