The highlight of Mud & Champagne is the Superhero Celebration Hour:

An extraordinary moment where the last runners become the true heroes of the trail. We believe in celebrating every achievement, and as the final participants triumphantly cross the finish line, the cheers and applause are deafening.

We will finish the Mud & Champagne with Fýri Trail Awards, where the trail run champions will be acknowledged and rewarded, adding a touch of distinction to this special occasion.

Queen of the hill?

As you stand at the foot of the mountain, you can feel the anticipation and excitement building. Look up and survey the daunting task before you. The hill is steep and long, and you know that it won’t be easy – but you’re determined to conquer it!

The 3 k “Forgotten Trail” with 550 meters of elevation is a challenging and fun special stage during Fýri Trail. “Queen of the Hill” starts after 4,5 km when you pass the Rjukande Falls.

Feel the thrill of racing down the steep slopes of Hemsedal’s apine area. The adrenaline rush as you fly down the path with the wind in your hair and your feet pounding the ground is an exhilarating experience. It’s going to be tough, wet, slippery, muddy, and just plain awesome! Push yourself to the limits as you race for the title of “Master of Disaster”!

The last 4k of Fýri Trail is all downhill through the alpine slopes of Hemsedal to the finish line at Fýri Resort.

  • Welcome to Fýri Resort of Hemsedal
  • 14:00- 18:00 Salomon shoe test clinic at Fýri Sports Club
  • 15:00 Test run nr 1. The “Forgotten trail”, the toughest part of FMT. The trail starts at the Rjukande Falls at an altitude of 650 m and ends after 3 km at an altitude of 1200 m. The trail is steep, the terrain technical and altogether wonderful. Altogether 12km trail running with Salomon Run Team.
  • 17:00 Test run nr 2. The “Forgotten trail”, the toughest part of FMT. The trail starts at the Rjukande Falls at an altitude of 650 m and ends after 3 km at an altitude of 1200 m.   • Pool Club, (you will get your pool club slot time when you check in at the hotel) our 1000 square meter pool club is the best reward after you’ve worked hard along the mountain trail. Enjoy the sauna, the pools and relax.
  • 17:30- 20:30 Dinner at LIV restaurant. You´ll get your dinner reservation time when you check in at the hotel.
  • 20:30 Fýri Talks! Inspiring lectures from our trail community
  • 21:30 Movie time in Candor.
    Salomon presents the latest trail movies and trail runners in a breathtaking environment.

Friday

  • 07:30 Yoga time at Candor (bring your own yoga mat)
  • From 07:00, Experience Fýri’s luxurious breakfast, the best way to start the day! You will receive your breakfast slot time when you check in at the hotel.
  • 09:00- 18:00 Salomon shoe test clinic at Fýri Sports Club
  • 10:00: Recreational running to Rjukande Falls, with a great dip in the falls, those brave enough jump into the water from the cliffs. Approximately 10 km run all together.
    Pool Club, (you will get your pool club slot time when you check in at the hotel) our 1000 square meter pool club is the best reward after you’ve worked hard along the mountain trail. Enjoy the sauna, the pools and relax.

  • 12:00- 14:00 Lunch at Restaurant LIV

  • 12:00 – 20:00 Race Office opens at the race arena! Get your BIB, timing device, and your map.

  • 17:00- 21:00 Fýri goes Italian at Liv Restaurant.Fuel up before the race with our famous Italian buffet.
  • 19:00 Live pod at Candor, NÅ ER DET ALVOR with Hans Kristian Smedsrød and invited guests.
  • 20:30 Race brief at Candor, race manager Jonas Svengård takes you through the Fýri Trail track, informs about the most important details about the race. The Race brief will be broadcast at Fýri Trail Instagram.

Fýri has everything you need after a lovely day in the mountains! Here you can enjoy a breath-taking moment in the sauna, some relaxing time in the pool club and fantastic food in one of our restaurants! Never has a glass of champagne tasted as good as in Roa’s food bar after a lovely trip in the mountains!

At Fýri we have a Pool Club of 1,000 m2. We focus on good food and relaxing music in a delicate environment – with pools and sunbeds, exciting restaurants and a playground with shuffleboard, billiards and a bar. Fýri has 144 hotel rooms and meeting rooms for up to 460 people. A place where life is wonderful. All year around.
