Avalanche course

Learn to read avalanche danger and move safely in the mountains. Hemsedal has courses for every step, from your first day in avalanche terrain to advanced training.

The NF basic course gives you a foundation in snow knowledge, avalanche forecasts and route selection. You practice with avalanche transceivers in the field and leave with experience you can use on your next tour. The NF advanced course is for those who have taken the basic course and want to go deeper.
