Celebrate Christmas and New Year at Fýri Resort

Settle in for a season of events you’ll only find here at Fýri, high in the Scandinavian mountains.

Christmas at Fýri 3 nights

Three nights of proper holiday: a warm room, breakfast each morning, and dinner every evening. All you need to pack are the presents.

Christmas at Fýri 5 nights

Five nights to settle right in. Room, breakfast, and dinner daily, with time between to ski, swim, or do very little at all. Bring the gifts, leave the rest to us.

New Year’s 5 nights

Ring in the year in the mountains. Five nights with room, breakfast, and dinner each evening, plus a four-course New Year’s Eve dinner with wine pairing. The new year begins gently, with a long breakfast and nowhere to be.

Live music at ROA

As the dark settles over the mountains and the winter evening sparkles, we turn up the mood at ROA. A duo from Need Music plays live from 8:00 to 10:00 pm, setting the tone for evenings full of warmth, rhythm, and real Christmas spirit.

Christmas Dinner

Snow-covered peaks, traditional Norwegian Christmas food and candlelight. Our legendary Christmas dinner is back, and this year Restaurant LIV serves a three-course menu with classic flavors and a modern touch.

Gather your friends or your colleagues around the table. Stay the night up here and wake up to our breakfast the morning after.

Christmas Concert with Andrea Bredesen Holm

Spend a festive pre-Christmas evening at Fýri with Andrea Bredesen Holm, winner of The Voice Norway and proud Hemsedal local.

On 3, 4 and 5 December, we’re hosting a Christmas concert with good food, music, and real Christmas spirit. Seats are limited.

The evening starts with a welcome drink at ROA at 6:00 pm, before we head together to Candor, our banquet and function hall, at 6:30. There you’ll find a Christmas concert with Andrea alongside a three-course Christmas plate.

After the concert, the evening continues at ROA, where Ulrikke Nilsen and Leander Hjerpås from Need Music keep the mood going, and the party running, well into the night.

Christmas tree lighting, first Sunday of Advent, 29 November.

Christmas Tree Lighting

Join us at Fýri for a day of Christmas cheer. On the first Sunday of Advent, we light the tree outside, the Hemsedal choir fills the air with carols, and there’s Christmas treats, mulled wine, and lussekatter for sale.

Father Christmas will be there too, ready to collect the children’s wish lists, and there’s a Christmas workshop planned in Candor.
